From a very early age, Singer-Songwriter Keri Johnson sang and played the piano by ear, also studying the violin Suzuki method by age 5- these early years strongly influenced by her musical parents as well as the gospel music of her Grandfather's church. Originally from Seattle Washington, Keri was awarded top music scholarships at major universities, studying and performing classical/opera in the Northwest, prior to moving to Los Angeles. In 2012, Keri returned to her childhood dream and began to compose, write and sing her own original music, playing each instrument by ear, each song layer by layer, while finding her voice as an artist. Having more recently produced her 15th self- produced album, "Tomorrow"  Keri's music is a unique, fresh blend of synth pop, dream pop, chill wave- trip hop.

"Keri’s songs are inspired by the lush textures of dream pop, and the soothing sonic landscapes of trip hop and chill-wave. If you like the music music of artists like Beach House, The Knife or even icons like Tori Amos and Imogen Heap, you’ll immediately understand what I am talking about." -thebandcampdiaries
